MidUSA Credit Union is headquartered in Middletown, Ohio, is a $210M credit union operating in a market saturated by nearly 75 financial institutions ranging from larger national banks, regional banks, and other credit unions. In a push to acquire new members, MarketMatch created the Diamond award-winning “Test Drive” Campaign. To grow new membership we focused on countering the usual obstacles to getting customers to switch – time/effort and no guarantee of better outcome – by offering a “test drive” of MidUSA membership with a Service and Value Guarantee, switch kit, and up to $150 for taking MidUSA for a test drive. The campaign brought new relevance to MidUSA and introduced the credit union to a new, broader audience of potential members, and resulted in nearly 90 new memberships. This project was also a CUNA Diamond Award winner for Membership Marketing.
