Project Background

Community banking is maximized at a grassroots level of community engagement, and small business is at the heart of communities served. Developed for Merchants National, this two-pronged WorkPlace Banking campaign included marketing materials for both employers and employees, promoting a clear value for both.

Studies show that financially savvy and confident employees have higher retention, job performance and overall satisfaction, and WorkPlace banking is an encompassing program geared to provide the tools for financial well-being. Employers were encouraged to promote the special checking account options and $50 bonus to employees. The employer-focused materials promoted the special checking suite to employees encouraging them to enroll in the program.
