As we have grown, we’ve acquired only employees with banking experience.

In fact, most of our staff has earned the prestigious ABA Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP) designation. We have evolved into a financial marketing powerhouse, staffed with best-in-class bank and credit union marketers from institutions of varying sizes and regions. We are sought-after industry leaders, speaking nationally and internationally on various financial marketing topics.

Okay, time out. Now that the obligatory “suit and power tie” version of who we are is out of the way, we wanted to give you a chance to get to know us each on a more personal level. Read on.

Bruce Clapp
Bruce Clapp
President
—and while much of that power is fueled by Red Bull (we’re talking he has a fridge next to his desk), it’s also fueled by his 25+ years of marketing expertise in various executive bank marketing leadership positions. While very outspoken about his love of family and anything Ohio State Football, Mr. Clapp is more quiet about some of his hidden talents: He can whistle without making it look like he’s doing the whistling. A ventriloquist whistler? He’s inspired by making a difference, big or small, in the lives of others and loves watching Gold Rush on the Discovery Channel, though he admits MarketMatch and his employees are his own personal gold strike.

Favorite Music: Any classic rock, especially AC/DC.
Favorite Saying: If you think you CAN or you think you CANNOT … you’re right.

Eric Gagliano
Eric Gagliano
EVP, Client Management
He loves to connect the dots between strategy, audience wants and client benefit to find the most effective message. We’ve had Eric examined, and he is in fact part pit bull, which explains his passionate involvement in an area Pit Bull rescue program and the tenacity he brings to each MarketMatch project. Always one to zig where others zag, Eric took his wife’s last name when they were married in Italy. He’s a 50s guy trapped in a Gen X body whose favorite food is coffee ice cream – which might explain why he’s an avid runner, but it doesn’t explain the two naked races he’s run.

Favorite Music: Blues
Favorite Saying: To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift … Steve Prefontaine.

Aaron Gregerson
Aaron Gregerson
VP, Client Management
Aaron provides strategic vision, planning and content marketing expertise for MarketMatch clients. “My best ideas come to me when I’ve got a pair of running shoes strapped to my feet,” Aaron says. Which is why he is always trying to include group runs as part of client strategy planning sessions. “Finding the connection between the 30,000-foot strategic view and how that solution ties in with the end consumers is one of my passions,” he adds. It’s probably why he also geeks out over airplanes and enjoys taking to the skies. As fanatical about marketing as he is about his 10 pairs of running shoes, Aaron always makes sure he finds solutions that are the right fit for his clients.

Favorite Music: Anything with a good beat!
Favorite Saying: The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over while expecting a different result.

Debbi Offenberger
Debbi Offenberger
VP, Client Management, Media Director

She loves the beach but not the sand and wishes that “someone would just put a hotel pool on the beach already.” Back in the day, she played soccer in college (Wilmington) where she earned her share of yellow cards (all undeserved of course). She’s mellowed a bit now and is more obsessed with scented candles than conference championships.

Favorite Music: Country
Favorite Saying: It is what it is.

Jeremy Yontz
Jeremy Yontz
AVP, Director of Creative Services

Besides stellar design, he’s passionate about donuts, cars, driving fast and showing off his favorite party trick: sticking $2 worth of quarters in his nose. “I’m thinking of taking that one to America’s Got Talent,” explains Jeremy. Prize money = more donuts? Other curious facts about Jeremy: He can still ride a skateboard and once broke both elbows at the same time. (Can you say over achiever?)

Favorite Music: Electronica
Favorite Saying: What goes around comes around.

Keith Woodruff
Keith Woodruff
Associate Creative Director, Copy

He has over 20 years of ad agency experience writing for B2B and B2C clients. He credits stand-up comedians such as George Carlin and classic comedy like Laurel & Hardy and Abbott & Costello for turning him on to the power of word play – which he uses every day on the job. “That whole, Who’s on First bit really blew my mind. For the better.” When it comes to life’s staples, he loves Mexican food, the more cilantro the better, craft beer (especially highly hopped IPAs), and reading and writing poetry. Someday, he would like to live by the ocean again, the Pacific, which he fell in love with as a boy.

Favorite Music: The Cure, The Smiths, Elvis Costello
Favorite Saying: It takes guts to be gentle and kind … The Smiths

Gail Dishman
Gail Dishman
Art Director

She finds her work a lot like doing a puzzle: frustrating at times, addictive, but exciting when the pieces start coming together and satisfying when it all fits together perfectly. If granted a secret power, it would be super speed – which would seriously open up more free time to analyze the tribal councils of her favorite show Survivor. While a huge fan of Sci-Fi-Fantasy fiction, she’s very much down-to-earth and is happiest spending time with her three kids and husband.

Favorite Music: All kinds
Favorite Saying: I am what I am … Popeye

Melanie Bell
Melanie Bell
Graphic Designer

She creates exciting and thoughtful designs and creative solutions for our clients. Beyond that, her talents run deep in other directions: she can touch her tongue to her nose for instance. For fun she collects bird Christmas ornaments, does Pinterest crafts, and feeds her obsession with purses, shoes and nail polish as often as possible.  In addition to the latest design trends, she’s very outspoken on the subject of her favorite food: “I love potatoes. Anything made with or of potatoes, except sweet potatoes. They’re just gross.”

Favorite Music: All Indie Rock All the Time
Favorite Saying: Make it simple, but significant … Don Draper

Jennifer Schlueter
Jennifer Schlueter
Director of Communications and Proofing

Though she dreamed as a child of singing them at the head of a rock band, she’s happy enough marshaling them into just the right place as an editor.  She spends as much time as possible running trails with her yellow lab, riding bikes with her husband and two sons, or curled up with a good book. Her obsession with making and advocating for healthy and sustainable life choices doesn’t preclude her occasional indulgence in a few guilty pleasures like chai lattes, quality rum and supernatural fiction. Always keen for a new challenge, Jennie is working toward a Masters degree in Spanish Literature, which dovetails nicely with her day job as assistant editor at the Buros Center for Testing, publisher of several research volumes in English and Spanish, at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Favorite Music: Classic rock and oldies
Favorite Saying: If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.
