Mad Money Contest Rules

MarketMatch is not responsible for the content, products or services of the winning financial institution or any actions, inactions, results or damages caused by the winning financial institution.

Any and all creations, improvements and inventions which the financial institution or its employees shall conceive or first actually reduce to practice which relate to Mad Money shall be considered work made for hire as that term is defined in the Copyright Act of 1976. The winning financial institution shall be the copyright owner of all such work. To the extent that any such work may not fall under the definition of work for hire, Agency has or will have obtained, and does hereby grant to the winning financial institution during the term of the copyright, including any renewals and extensions, a royalty-free, perpetual and exclusive right and license to use, print, publish, distribute, transmit, download or license publication of the work in any form or version and by any means of distribution or transmission.

The work to be prepared hereunder will contain no materials from copyrighted works of MarketMatch or any other source(s) without the prior written permission of the owner of such copyrighted material. The Agency and winning financial institution will at their sole expense obtain and bear all costs for such permissions.

The winning financial institution grants MarketMatch a royalty-free, perpetual and exclusive license to use, print, publish, distribute, transmit, download or license publication of the work in any form or version and by any means of distribution or transmission.

The winning financial institution may grant to the MarketMatch a non-exclusive license to use approved Work for its own marketing purposes and to showcase its work with the prior approval the winning financial institution.

The financial institution represents and warrants that the financial institution is the sole and exclusive creator of the application and any intellectual property included in the application and that the potential idea/concept/ work does not and will not in any way infringe upon any copyright, violate any proprietary rights, or contain any scandalous, libelous, injurious or unlawful matter. In the event of claim, demand or suit against MarketMatch by reason of any violation of proprietary right or copyright, or by reason of any libelous, unlawful or otherwise injurious material contained in said work, MarketMatch may take any action it deems appropriate for the resolution of such dispute. The financial institution shall indemnify and hold harmless MarketMatch or expenses incurred in the defense of such claim, demand or suit, and for any recovery finally sustained as a result thereof.

Cost of information preparation

MarketMatch accepts no obligation for costs incurred by financial institutions submitting a contest application.

Additional Information

MarketMatch reserves the right to request additional information from financial institution entrants.

 Contest disclosures

Sponsored by MarketMatch. Contest is open to all adult employees or volunteers of financial institutions. The decisions of the judges and votes are final. Any income taxes are the responsibility of the winner. The odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received. Limited to one entry per financial institution. Entries must be submitted via online form at www.marketmatch.com/MadMoney URL. MarketMatch assumes no responsibility for lost, mutilated, or misdirected entries. If the $10,000 Grand Prize or $2500 second prizes is not fully utilized, there is no cash value or refund of the remaining award. Void where prohibited.
